Equivariant smoothings of cusp singularities
, 2021Let $p \in X$ be the germ of a cusp singularity and let $\iota$ be an antisymplectic involution, that is an involution free on $X\setminus \{p\}$ and such that there exists a nowhere vanishing holomorphic 2-form $\Omega$ on $X\setminus \{p\}$ for which $\iota^*(\Omega)=-\Omega$. We prove that a sufficient condiition for such a singularity equipped with

Summary: We obtain a list of all simple classes of singularities of function germs with respect to the quasi cusp equivalence relation. We discuss its connection with the singularities of Lagrangian projections in presence of a cuspidal edge. We also describe the bifurcation diagrams and caustics of simple quasi cusp singularities.

Real forms of cusp singularities
Mathematical Proceedings of the Cambridge Philosophical Society, 1986Cusp singularities were introduced and described in detail in Hirzebruch's fundamental paper [3] (se recall some of the basic results in § 1 below). They form a natural and well-behaved class, included in Laufer's ‘minimally elliptic’ singularities [5].

An Operator Algebra on Manifolds with Cusp-Type Singularities
Annals of Global Analysis and Geometry, 1998The algebra of pseudodifferential operators on an arbitrary smooth manifold with a finite number of points of cusp-type is investigated. A family of local cusp algebras is constructed and the local Fredholm properties are established. The Fredholm property (global) is a direct consequence of the existence of local regularizers.
