Monolithic Silicon Photonic Transceiver for 160 km Multi‐Channel Quantum Entanglement Distribution in Fiber Network

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
The paper demonstrates a chip scale (4.5 x 4.5 mm2) silicon integrated system that is capable of distributing entangled photons over 160 km single mode fibers without dispersion compensations and external optical filters. The results highlight the potential for massive production and large‐scale deployed quantum integrated circuits for a future ...

Topological Quasiparticles of Light: From Spin‐Orbit Coupling to Photonic Skyrmions

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
This review summarizes recent advances in photonic skyrmions, emphasizing the central role of spin–orbit coupling in their formation. The review discusses how spin–orbit interactions generate skyrmionic textures, examines modulation strategies for their dynamic control, and provides an overview of emerging directions and opportunities where these ...

Metasurfaces in Adaptive Optics: A New Opportunity in Optical Wavefront Sensing

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
Wavefront sensing constitutes a critical component of adaptive optics systems, aimed at quantitatively measuring distorted wavefronts and enabling closed‐loop correction in optical setups. Metasurfaces, as planar optical elements composed of nanoscale structures, provide exceptional freedom in modulating multiple dimensions of the light field.

Widefield Targeted Illumination Microscopy Enables Optically‐Sectioned, Motion‐Resilient Imaging of Neuronal Fibers and Their Dynamics

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
Targeted Illumination Microscopy (TIM) enhances widefield fluorescence imaging by selectively illuminating dim neuronal fibers while suppressing bright cell bodies. Using real‐time image processing and a digital micromirror device, TIM achieves high‐contrast, optically sectioned, and motion‐resilient imaging in C.

Controlled Mechanical Anisotropy in 3D‐Printed Thermoplastic Elastomeric Composites

open access: yesMacromolecular Materials and Engineering, EarlyView.
This work achieves controlled mechanical anisotropy through the spatial arrangement of soft and rigid segments using ABS+TPE core–shell filaments. Unidirectional raster localization enables targeted bending, providing precise mechanical control.

A Geometric Interpretation for the Algebraic Properties of Second‐Order Ordinary Differential Equations

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, Volume 48, Issue 6, Page 6912-6917, April 2025.
ABSTRACT Nowadays, a substantial portion of investigations concerning the symmetry analysis of differential equations predominantly adhere to a framework comprising the following key procedures: (i) the derivation of symmetries, (ii) the determination of an optimal system, (iii) the utilization of these symmetries to construct invariants or ...

Investigating Tuberculosis Dynamics Under Various Control Strategies: A Comprehensive Analysis Using Real Statistical Data

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In the present investigation, a mathematical model with vaccination, treatment, and environmental impact under real data is presented. Initially, we present the model without any interventions, followed by an examination of its equilibrium points.

Mathematical Modeling and Optimal Control of Combined Virotherapy and Adoptive T Cell Therapy for Cancer Treatment

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In this study, we investigate the synergistic roles of adoptive T cell therapy (ACT), specifically using tumor‐infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) and oncolytic virus (OV) therapy in enhancing cancer treatment efficacy. While OVs can initiate tumor destruction, they often fail to achieve complete tumor eradication or generate a strong antitumor ...

Invariant Characterization of Scalar Second‐Order ODEs That Admit Three Point Symmetry Lie Algebra via Cartan's Equivalence Method

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Cartan's equivalence method is applied to explicitly construct three‐dimensional invariant coframes for three branches, which are used to characterize scalar second‐order ODEs with a three‐point symmetry Lie algebra. Additionally, we present a method for constructing the point transformation based on the derived invariant coframes.
