As the bat uses the echo of insects to locate them in darkness, we here demonstrate that the echo‐signal of small temperature modulations applied to a catalyst can be used to reveal minority sites.

The Effects of Suspended Sediments, Dye, and Their Variation on Fish Behavior
Ecology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 8, August 2026.Human activities are affecting the visual environments of freshwater ecosystems by introducing visual pollutants such as artificial dyes and elevated suspended sediment levels. Our research shows that dyes and suspended sediments can have contrasting effects of fish behavior, with dye increasing and sediments decreasing movement.
