Cutting Parameters Effects on Cutting Properties Based on Cutting Temperatures
Advanced Materials Research, 2014Cutting temperature is an important factor for nylon cutting properties. The glass transition temperature is suitable to determine cutting conditions. By applying finite element method to this research, the cutting temperatures variation on workpiece and chip with time under different cutting parameters are calculated.

An effective approach for the optimisation of cutting parameters
International Journal of Computer Applications in Technology, 2014Optimisation of cutting parameters enhances the precision and stability of processes in the machinery industry. In this study, hole-boring in bearing brackets for automobiles is examined as a case for optimisation, and five cutting parameters having great influence on the workpiece cutting accuracy are selected.
