Simplified placement and management of cutting setons in the treatment of transsphincteric anal fistula: technical note [PDF]
International Journal of Colorectal Disease, 2004 We report one safe and standardized technique of seton placement and management.A simplified way to manage cutting setons helps to minimize manipulation and may reduce pain. In most patients our technique can be used with no additional anesthesia and in an outpatient setting.

Journal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth, Volume 131, Issue 9, September 2026.Abstract We present heat flow estimates beneath the forearc slopes off Hyuga‐nada and Cape Muroto in the Nankai Trough, where the Philippine Sea plate subducts beneath the southwestern Japan. Using seismic reflection data, we identified Bottom Simulating Reflectors and derived heat flow ranging from 20 to >140 mW/m2.
