Long read bacterial and eukaryotic ribosomal operon sequencing combined with stable isotope probing (SIP) allowed the differentiation of microbiomes in low‐ and high‐yield blueberry farm soils. This report may ultimately be used to improve productivity and potentially detect the responsible pathogenic agent(s) or other deleterious microbes.

Peruvian frogs underwent a climate‐driven range expansion into deglaciating mountains, exposing themselves and their fungal pathogen Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis (Bd) to challenging new thermal environments. Bd has dispersed extensively in these new habitats, and elevation may mediate the apparent sublethal impacts of infection for frogs.

We provide a geomorphological analysis of Cordillera Vilcanota and use morphostratigraphic principles to reconstruct palaeo icefield extent and palaeoglacier readvances, likely during the Antarctic Cold Reversal and Younger Dryas. We find evidence of temperate and polythermal ice margins, with limited glaciofluvial landform generation.

Metatranscriptomic reads from black band disease (BBD) lesions derived from samples collected during the day and night were mapped to near‐complete BBD‐derived metagenome‐assembled genomes to profile diurnal metabolic shifts among key microbial groups. Photosynthesis genes from the cyanobacterium Roseofilum reptotaenium were highly expressed during the

Changes in Key Biodiversity Area networks following national comprehensive assessments
Making comprehensive assessments of Key Biodiversity Area (KBA) networks in a country greatly increases their number and area. Countries that have not yet done so will be missing about half of these globally significant sites and missing the opportunity to get 30 × 30 conservation in the right places. Abstract Key Biodiversity Areas (KBAs) are sites of
