People living with HIV (PWH) face an increased risk of Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and cardiovascular events (CVEs), highlighting the need for simple risk stratification tools. In this retrospective study of 477 PWH followed for 14.2 years, a higher triglyceride‐glucose (TyG) index independently predicted incident T2DM and CVEs.
