Anomalous Transport and Generalized Axial Charge [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
In this paper we continue studying the modification of the axial charge in chiral media by macroscopic helicities. Recently it was shown that magnetic reconnections result in a persistent current of zero mode along flux tubes.

High‐Throughput Glucose Biosensing Using Jack Bean [Canavalia ensiformis (L.) DC.] Lectin as Electrochemical Signaling Element

open access: yesElectroanalysis, Volume 38, Issue 4, April 2026.
An electrochemical biosensor employing Canavalia ensiformis lectin immobilized on a Prussian Blue‐modified glassy carbon electrode was developed for label‐free glucose detection at submicromolar levels. The integration of lectin biorecognition with the conductive Prussian Blue layer ensured stable and selective signal transduction.

Prognostic value of triglyceride‐derived metabolic parameters for micro‐ and macrovascular complications and mortality in individuals with type 2 diabetes: The Rio de Janeiro type 2 diabetes cohort study

open access: yesDiabetic Medicine, Volume 43, Issue 4, April 2026.
Prognostic value of triglyceride‐derived metabolic parameters for micro‐ and macrovascular complications and mortality in individuals with type 2 diabetes. Abstract Aims Triglyceride‐derived metabolic parameters have been proposed as indirect measures of insulin resistance and also as predictors of worse prognosis, mainly in Asian populations. However,

Resistance of Tectona grandis To Ceratocystis Wilt

open access: yesForest Pathology, Volume 56, Issue 2, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Tectona grandis (teak) is a tree species highly appreciated for its high‐quality hardwood and versatile industrial applications. Despite clonal teak plantations showing several advantages, such as reduced rotation time and increased wood volume production, the genetic uniformity of plantations makes them more susceptible to diseases ...

Patient Characteristics and Clinical Outcomes in a Specialist Hypertension Clinic: A Pragmatic Real‐World Single‐Center Observational Study

open access: yesThe Journal of Clinical Hypertension, Volume 28, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Patients referred to specialist hypertension clinics often have complex disease characterized by secondary causes, treatment resistance and coexisting kidney disease. Real‐world outcome data in this setting remain limited. We conducted a retrospective cohort study of 199 patients attending a tertiary hypertension clinic between January 2017 ...

Genomic Integrity in Gull Chicks Predicts Colony Departure and Postfledging Movements

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 3, March 2026.
We integrated molecular biomarkers with high‐resolution GPS tracking to study key behavioral decisions during the transition to independence in a long‐lived colonial seabird. We found that juveniles with shorter telomeres and higher DNA damage leave the colony earlier, revealing a link between physiological state and movement ecology.

Improvement of Phenolic Compound and Anthocyanin Extraction Efficiency From Clitoria ternatea by Autogenous Pressurization Method in a Sealed‐Vessel and Determination of Anthocyanin Compounds by LC‐HRMS

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 3, March 2026.
Closed‐vessel extraction under autogenous pressure (CVE‐AP) enhanced anthocyanin and phenolic compound recovery from Clitoria ternatea by improving solvent penetration and mass transfer while preserving flavonoid profiles confirmed by LC‐HRMS. ABSTRACT Clitoria ternatea L.
