On the average-case hardness of CVP

Proceedings 42nd IEEE Symposium on Foundations of Computer Science, 2001
We prove a connection of the worst-case complexity to the average-case complexity based on the Closest Vector Problem (CVP) for lattices. We assume that there is an efficient algorithm which can approximately solve a random instance of CVP, with a non-trivial success probability.

CVP chemotherapy plus rituximab compared with CVP as first-line treatment for advanced follicular lymphoma

Blood, 2005
The combination of cyclophosphamide, vincristine, and prednisone (CVP) is one of several standard treatment options for advanced follicular lymphoma. This, like similar chemotherapeutic regimens, induces response rates of 60% to 80%, with a median response duration of under 2 years.

CVP Lines: Monitoring and Maintaining

The American Journal of Nursing, 1978
heart function in relation to blood volume and are helpful in determining a patient's fluid volume requirements. In addition, a CVP line may be used to administer fluids and drugs. Maintaining the patency of the system, monitoring pressures accurately, and preventing infection are the primary goals in caring for patients with CVP lines.

Administering the CVP

California Law Review, 1950
A QUICK review of the articles in this issue written by students of law reveals that a great many become involved in some way in the major substantive issues which have led to such intense political controversy in the Central Valley. In many cases, perhaps, these students would have preferred to avoid these issues, to limit themselves to matters of law

CVP

Proceedings of the 26th ACM international conference on Supercomputing, 2012
Indirect branch prediction is becoming increasingly important in modern high-performance processors. However, previous indirect branch predictors either require a significant amount of hardware storage and complexity, or heavily rely on the expensive manual profiling. In this paper, we propose the Compiler-Guided Value Pattern (CVP) prediction, an ...

Localization of CVP Catheter with Teflon Wire

JAMA: The Journal of the American Medical Association, 1968
To the Editor:— The recent report of death following "Perforation of the Atrium by a Polyethylene CV Catheter" (203:1141, 1968) is particularly tragic because such accidents do not need to occur. The authors discuss two possible means of localizing central venous pressure catheters, ie, radiopaque tips and etched calibration markings.
