Thermodynamic length in a 2-D thermodynamic state space
The main goal of this paper is to reach an explicit formulation and possible interpretation of thermodynamic length in a thermodynamic state space with two degrees of freedom. Using the energy and entropy metric in a general form, we get explicit results

Loss of the cargo receptor Erv14 in Saccharomyces cerevisiae results in sensitivity to calcium, zinc, neutral extracellular pH, and elevated temperature. Furthermore, cells deleted in the ERV14 exhibits vacuolar fragmentation, enlarged lipid droplets, and metabolic alterations. Ruiz Salas, J. L. (2026) https://BioRender.com/b65g523. ABSTRACT Erv14 is a

Coherent acoustic phonons are generated and optically controlled in bulk WSSe alloy samples using ultrafast spectroscopy. The alloy exhibits a strong coherent acoustic response, which is not an intermediate state between WS? and WSe?. Instead, a much more complex mechanism is proposed.

Study of the Performance Requirements of CVT for Engine-CVT Consolidated Control.
Fuel consumption of the engine becomes sufficiently economical when it runs under operating conditions of low speed and high torque rather than of high speed and low torque. However, it is difficult for automobiles to run under such economical conditions because acceleration is frequently required.

Multifunctional black phosphorus nanocomposites with carbon, metal/oxide, and polymers suppress volume expansion, enhance conductivity, and enable durable, high‐capacity LIB anodes. ABSTRACT Black phosphorus (BP) is a layered and two‐dimensional substance that has been discussed as an anode material for lithium‐ion batteries (LIBs) due to its ...
