Stabilization of spherically symmetric static Boson stars by Coleman-Weinberg self-interaction potential

open access: yesNuclear Physics B
Our motivation in this work is due to the great importance of relativistic boson stars as fierce competitors of black holes. From theoretical perspective, they described by complex Klein Gordon (KG) scalar fields interacting with curved background in ...

In Situ Lithium Nitridosilicate Interlayer via Reactive Anolyte Design for All‐Solid‐State Silicon Anodes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Interfacial reactions in all‐solid‐state batteries are conventionally suppressed; here, they are designed. Vacancy‐rich β‐Li3N, acting as an anolyte, reacts controllably with silicon during composite anode fabrication, building a purpose‐made lithium nitridosilicate interlayer on every particle surface.

Optimal Control of Brushless Doubly Fed Wind Power Generator under Zero-Voltage Ride-Through

open access: yesEnergies
In the grid-connected operation dynamics of brushless doubly fed generators (BDFGs), a dip in the grid voltage is equivalent to suddenly adding a reverse voltage source at the parallel node.

Multi‐Biomimetic Structural Colors Inspired by Pearls and Bird Feathers

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A dual‐biomimetic strategy mimicking pearls and bird feathers is proposed to construct full‐gamut structural colors. By integrating a non‐strictly periodic inorganic multilayer architecture with tunable light absorbers, this facile approach circumvents the complex fabrication of traditional 1D photonic crystals, offering immense potential for cosmetics,

Reconfigurable Millimeter-Wave Generation via Mutually Injected Spin-VCSELs

open access: yesPhotonics
We propose a novel scheme for generating high-frequency millimeter-wave signals by exploiting period-one (P1) dynamics in a mutual injection configuration of two spin-polarized vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers (spin-VCSELs).

SIKORSKI AND FRÖLICHER CW-COMPLEXES COMPARED

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica, 2005
The author considers the analogue of CW complexes in the category of Sikorski differential spaces (S-CW complexes) and in the subcategory of Frölicher spaces (F-CW complexes). Then he proves that (1) the underlying topological space of an S-CW complex is a CW complex and (2) a Frölicher space is an F-CW complex iff it is an S-CW complex.

Additively Manufactured Porous Ceramics as Tunable Dielectrics for Passive Temperature Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Porous ceramic lattices, 3D‐printed from a multicomponent oxide ink, are integrated with LC resonators for passive wireless temperature sensing. By tuning porosity, the dielectric properties and RF response are engineered to produce distinct resonant frequency shifts with temperature. The results establish a structure‐driven approach to customizing the

Immediate Organic Room‐Temperature Phosphorescence in Programmable Luminescent Tags Enabled by Oxygen‐Free Fabrication

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Programmable luminescent tags based on organic room‐temperature phosphorescence are shown to be governed by oxygen incorporation during fabrication. Oxygen‐free processing enables immediate phosphorescence activation, controlled thermal preconditioning, and tunable activation doses.

Laser‐Induced Local De‐Doping in Organic Semiconductors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
The polymer PBTTT‐C14 doped with the small molecule acceptor F4TCNQ is considered as a benchmark material system. Mask‐free, microscale patterning of the doping level via laser‐induced heating and sublimation of dopant molecules is shown. Controlling laser irradiance and swath spacing allows dopant level control with laser‐limited resolution, opening ...
