Discrete derived categories II : the silting pairs CW complex and the stability manifold

open access: yes, 2016
Discrete derived categories were studied initially by Vossieck [‘The algebras with discrete derived category’, J. Algebra 243 (2001) 168–176] and later by Bobiński, Geiß and Skowroński [‘Classification of discrete derived categories’, Cent. Eur. J. Math.

Wavelength‐Multiplexed 2D Beam Steering via a Passive Diffractive Network

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Illustration of a wavelength‐multiplexed diffractive beam steering system, which is composed of K cascaded diffractive layers, each containing phase‐modulating elements that are jointly optimized using deep learning–based optimization. When illuminated with a set of wavelengths {λ1,λ2,…,λNw}$\{ {{{\lambda }_1},{{\lambda }_2},\ldots ,{{\lambda }_{{{N}_w}

An Examination of the Cs2NaInCl6 Luminescence: Interplay of Self‐Generated In+ and Doped Sb3+, Er3+/Yb3+ Ions

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
A new luminescence mechanism in Cs2NaInCl₆ is revealed through spontaneously formed In3+→In+ centers and Er3+/Yb3+/Sb3+ doping. Tunable visible, near‐infrared, downconversion, and upconversion emissions are demonstrated, while DFT calculations explain the electronic structure.

Effects of Hydraulic Retention Time on Removal of Cr (VI) and p-Chlorophenol and Electricity Generation in L. hexandra-Planted Constructed Wetland–Microbial Fuel Cell

open access: yesMolecules
Hexavalent chromium (Cr (VI)) and para-chlorophenol (4-CP) are prevalent industrial wastewater contaminants that are recalcitrant to natural degradation and prone to migration in aquatic systems, thereby harming biological health and destabilizing ...

Geometry‐Driven Whispering‐Gallery Modes in Self‐Assembled Phosphorescent Organic Microtubes

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Micelles encapsulating tris(2‐phenylpyridine)iridium(III) self‐assemble into a hollow hexagonal microtube stabilized by a surface passivation layer. The hexagonal cross‐section confines circulating light along its facets, sustaining sharp whispering‐gallery resonances that guide photoluminescence emission under laser excitation.

Harnessing Ultrafast Optical Pulses for 3D Microfabrication by Selective Tweezing and Immobilization of Colloidal Particles in an Integrated System

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, Volume 6, Issue 5, May 2025.
Microfabrication using nano‐ to micron‐sized blocks has transformative potential for next‐gen electronics, optoelectronics, and materials. Traditional methods are limited by scalability and precision. STIC, a single‐laser system for precise colloid manipulation and immobilization using femtosecond lasers, is introduced that enables efficient 3D ...

The Q‐Warg Pipeline: A Robust and Versatile Workflow for Quantitative Analysis of Protoplast Culture Conditions

open access: yesPlant Direct
Single cells offer a simplified model for investigating complex mechanisms such as cell–cell adhesion. Protoplasts, plant cells without cell walls (CWs), have been instrumental in plant research, industrial applications, and breeding. However, because of

Intelligent Sky Guardians (InSkyGuard): An Aerial Robotic Swarm for Autonomous Detection and Entrapment of Rogue Multirotors

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Intelligent Sky Guardians (InSkyGuard) is introduced as a four‐drone swarm that autonomously detects, tracks, and safely captures rogue drones using a coordinated net system. Computer vision and leader–follower control architecture enable synchronized enclosure, while integrated failsafes enhance system reliability. Validated through closed‐environment
