Euler's Theorem for Regular CW-Complexes [PDF]
For strongly connected, pure $n$-dimensional regular CW-complexes, we show that {\it evenness} (each $(n{-}1)$-cell is contained in an even number of $n$-cells) is equivalent to generalizations of both cycle decomposition and traversability.Comment: 15 ...

A mechanically programmable hydrogel for tissue engineering is developed by modulating the molecular threading density of poly(ethylene glycol) diacrylate‐β‐cyclodextrin (PEGDA‐β‐CD) polyrotaxane and combining it with β‐CD‐modified gelatin. The polyrotaxane‐guided transition from disordered pores to laminar microstructures enables precise tuning ...

Topological spaces of the same homotopy type as CW-complexes are considered (CW-spaces). Construction methods are used to give algebraic characterizations of CW-complexes, firstly of finite type, and secondly, of finite dimension.

On finitely dominated CW complexes
Let D \mathcal {D} be the class of all CW complexes homotopy dominated by finite CW complexes. In this paper we prove the following theorem. Theorem. Suppose a connected CW complex X ∈ D

The homotopy type of the polyhedral product for shifted complexes [PDF]
We prove a conjecture of Bahri, Bendersky, Cohen and Gitler: if K is a shifted simplicial complex on n vertices,X1,...,Xn are pointed connected CW-complexes and CXi is the cone on Xi, then the polyhedral product determined by K and the pairs (C Xi , Xi )

Reversible Tuning of Multiple Molecular Kinking for Stem Cell Regulation In Vivo
In this work, we introduce the novel concept of background component‐free “multiple kinks” material platform composed solely of liganded multiple kink‐bearing molecules as a strategy for dynamic biomaterial design. Tri‐kink molecules enable effective near‐infrared light‐triggered ligand masking and visible light‐triggered ligand exposure, thereby ...

Preferential Interfacial Engineering of Hydrogels via Interdigitated Nanoparticle Assembly
Robust surface functionalization of hydrogel surfaces is performed via interdigitated metal nanoparticle assembly, inducing strong affinity with the hydrogel matrix. The partially exposed nanoparticle domains act as interfacial nanobridges that mediate both chemical and physical bonding with diverse materials, including small molecules, fluorous ...

Ground‐State Charge‐Transfer Doping in Donor–Acceptor Semiconducting Polymers
This work demonstrates controlled ground‐state charge‐transfer complex formation (GS‐CTC) and doping in a series of diketopyrrolopyrrole‐based donor–acceptor semiconducting polymers paired with a π‐conjugated penta‐t‐butylpentacyanopentabenzo[25]annulene “cyanostar” macrocycle. Complementary experimental techniques show how subtle molecular, electronic,

A post‐growth method is demonstrated to realize energy‐tunable quantum emitters in GaAs/GaAsN/GaAs core–multishell nanowires on a Si substrate. By combining the N‐induced bandgap reduction with H‐ion irradiation, the GaAsN potential landscape is engineered, enabling isolated, narrow emission lines that function as single‐photon sources with g(2)(0) ∼ 0.

Defect‐Mediated Inelastic Light Scattering by Infrared Phonons in Hexagonal Boron Nitride
Optically active defects in hexagonal boron nitride enable inelastic stimulated light scattering mediated by infrared‐active phonons, relaxing conventional Raman selection rules. Defect engineering enhances the Stokes‐conversion process and activates both TO‐ and LO‐phonon scattering channels.
