Power-cancellation of CW-complexes with few cells [PDF]
In this paper, we use the fact that the rings of integer matrices have the power-substitution property in order to obtain a powercancellation property for homotopy types of CW-complexes with one cell in dimensions 0 and 4n and a finite number of cells in

This study demonstrates short, length‐independent group delay supported by topological edge states in open Su–Schrieffer–Heeger networks. Strong boundary port coupling enables an order‐of‐magnitude latency reduction compared to bulk modes, alongside robust protection against bulk disorder.

Deterministic Transferable Planar Dielectric Mirrors for Investigating Strong Light–Matter Coupling
Transferable dielectric distributed Bragg reflectors enable the deterministic assembly of high‐quality planar microcavities while maintaining the intrinsic properties of quantum materials during fabrication. The resulting structures exhibit robust exciton‐photon coupling in monolayer WS2${\rm WS}_{2}$ from cryogenic to room temperature, establishing a ...

KU-local zeta-functions of finite CW-complexes
Begin with the Hasse-Weil zeta-function of a smooth projective variety over the rational numbers. Replace the variety with a finite CW-complex, replace etale cohomology with complex K-theory $KU^*$, and replace the $p$-Frobenius operator with the $p$th ...

Nearly hyperuniform disordered photonic slabs guide light along prescribed freeform pathways without relying on lattice symmetry. A pathway‐first design embeds curved channels within a photonic bandgap hyperuniform network, maintaining high transmission through freeform bends.

Wavelength‐Multiplexed 2D Beam Steering via a Passive Diffractive Network
Illustration of a wavelength‐multiplexed diffractive beam steering system, which is composed of K cascaded diffractive layers, each containing phase‐modulating elements that are jointly optimized using deep learning–based optimization. When illuminated with a set of wavelengths {λ1,λ2,…,λNw}$\{ {{{\lambda }_1},{{\lambda }_2},\ldots ,{{\lambda }_{{{N}_w}

La suspension homologique pour les CW-complexes finis quotients d'actions libres de $(Z/2)^n$
This is a complement of the references BLSZ23 et Ngu22 which are given there. One shows that the $n$-th homology suspension is surjective for the following finite CW-complexes : the quotients under the action $(Z/2)^n$ of finite $(Z/2)^n$-CW ...

A new luminescence mechanism in Cs2NaInCl₆ is revealed through spontaneously formed In3+→In+ centers and Er3+/Yb3+/Sb3+ doping. Tunable visible, near‐infrared, downconversion, and upconversion emissions are demonstrated, while DFT calculations explain the electronic structure.
