Process intensification for the production of the ethyl esters of volatile fatty acids using aluminium chloride hexahydrate as a catalyst [PDF]
A new process for obtaining the ethyl esters of volatile fatty acids with ethanol by using aluminium chloride hexahydrate as a catalyst is proposed. Aluminium chloride not only exhibits good activity, composition equilibrium is achieved within 4 hours at 343 K, but also induces a phase separation with a convenient distribution of the components.

Noether symmetry for Gauss-Bonnet dilatonic gravity [PDF]
Noether symmetry for Gauss-Bonnet-Dilatonic interaction exists for a constant dilatonic scalar potential and a linear functional dependence of the coupling parameter on the scalar field. The symmetry with the same form of the potential and coupling parameter exists all in the vacuum, radiation and matter dominated era.

Cure reactions in the blend of cyanate ester with maleimide [PDF]
Abstract Cure reactions of a bismaleimide (4,4′-bismaleimidodiphenylmethane, BMI) associated with a liquid aromatic dicyanate ester (1,1′-bis(4-cyanatophenyl)ethane, BEDCy) and with a powder type aromatic dicyanate ester (bisphenol A dicyanate, BADCy) were investigated by in situ FTIR and DSC dynamic scanning.

Preparation, Cure, and Characterization of Cyanate Ester-Epoxy Blends Containing Reactive Flame Retardants [PDF]
Cyanate ester resins are sometimes mixed with lower cost epoxy monomers to modify cost, toughness, and processing capabilities. Despite the high performance of these thermosetting polymers, flame retardancy remains an issue. This study examined blends of
