Schiff Base Polysaccharide Hydrogels: A Promising Biomaterial for Wound Dressings

Polysaccharide‐based hydrogels with Schiff base linkages show strong potential as wound dressings due to their bio‐adhesiveness, self‐healing, stimuli responsiveness, and antibacterial properties. The reversible N═CR bonds enable injectability and controlled release of bioactive agents, enhancing wound repair.
