In patients with acute‐on‐chronic liver failure (ACLF), esophagogastric variceal bleeding (EGVB) represents a critical complication associated with high short‐term mortality. Nonthermal plasma approaches for combating implant‐associated infections: A compendious review

Implant‐associated infections pose serious clinical challenges. Non‐thermal plasma (NTP) modifications overcome this bottleneck in distinct ways relative to traditional sterilization methods. Gas‐phase plasmas generate highly energetic species, UV radiation and reactive oxygen/nitrogen species (RONS), which alter the implant surface properties.

Evaluating the efficacy of tagging adhesives for insect tracking

Two‐part epoxy resin delivered the strongest RFID tag adhesion on carabid beetles, exceeding polyvinyl acetate, cosmetic latex and cyanoacrylate adhesives. Adhesive performance was consistent across Harpalus, Leistus and Poecilus; species effects were non‐significant, supporting a broadly applicable protocol for carabid RFID tagging studies.
