Deep Eutectic Polymer Electrolyte with Competitive Hydrogen‐Bonding Coordination for High‐Voltage Nickel‐rich Lithium Metal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
To stabilize high‐voltage Li||NCM811 batteries, we develop an in situ polymerized deep‐eutectic electrolyte (p‐DEPE) featuring competitive hydrogen‐bonding coordination. This design weakens Ni4+ adsorption, suppresses oxygen release, and enhances interfacial stability.

Bonding of Alkyl 2-Cyanoacrylates to Human Dentin and Enamel

open access: yes, 1972
The influence of water immersion and acid etching on the bonding of methyl, ethyl, a thickened ethyl, and isobutyl 2-cyanoacrylates to human enamel and dentin was studied.

Optical Windows for Transcranial Brain Imaging in Living Mice: Skull Thinning, Clearing, and Beyond

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Longitudinal, noninvasive in vivo imaging is crucial for studying brain physiology. Advances in transcranial optical windows and multiphoton microscopy have improved imaging depth, but their performance often deteriorates over time. This work investigated various transcranial window approaches and found that skull regrowth limits image quality.

Use of cyanoacrylate-based surgical adhesives associated to the macroporous tape in skin synthesis in rats [PDF]

open access: yesActa Cirúrgica Brasileira, 2019
Purpose: To compare the use of new cyanoacrylate surgical adhesive associated with macroporous tapes in cutaneous synthesis. Methods: Male Wistar rats with a longitudinal incision of 4cm were used on the back, divided into four groups: GI used octyl ...

Wavelength-Tunable Light-Induced Polymerization of Cyanoacrylates Using Photogenerated Amines [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Cyanoacrylate photopolymerization has already been described, but it generally requires the use of organometallic photoinitiators and highly reactive monomers, which often leads to photoinitiator–monomer mixtures with limited stability.

Impact of Recanalization on Liver Hypertrophy after Portal Vein Embolization and the Role of Re‐Embolization

open access: yesAnnals of Gastroenterological Surgery, EarlyView.
This retrospective study of 249 patients undergoing hepatectomy after right portal vein embolization (PVE) demonstrated that major recanalization–defined as recanalization more than one segment within the embolized liver–was associated with impaired regeneration of the future liver remnant (FLR).

Tooth fragment reattachment using cyanoacrylate tissue adhesive and flowable composite: An in vitro study

open access: yesEndodontology
Aim: Crown fractures in anterior teeth represent 18%–22% of dental hard tissue injuries. Immediate reattachment of the fragment using composite resin is the preferred treatment option. However, the reattached fragments are prone to fracture.

EMG‐Driven Telemetry and Inference System for Fish: Pose Reconstruction and Flow Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This work introduces an electromyography (EMG)‐driven telemetry framework that reconstructs body pose and infers hydrodynamic conditions in freely swimming fish. A custom 16‐channel archival system records intramuscular EMG, enabling deep‐learning models to decode joint kinematics, classify flow regimes, and reveal channel‐efficient sensing strategies.
