Cyanophyceae (Cyanobacteria) aérophiles de Nouvelle-Calédonie
Cryptogamie Algologie, 1999Abstract This paper deals with the aerophytic Cyanophyceae from New Caledonia sampled by Prof. Dr A. Guillaumin from Paris, Dr M.G. Baumann-Bodenheim from Zurich, Dr H. Hurlimann from Winterthur and Prof. Baas Becking from Noumea. A total of 124 samples were studied, most of them collected on soil, stones, rocks and barks.

Large intracytoplasmic crystals in Lyngbya (Cyanophyceae)
Phycologia, 1986In addition to the usual cell inclusions, Cyano phyceae possess a variety of inclusions of spo radic distribution which can be placed in seven groups of systematic value (Jensen 1984). Most observations were made on culture isolates. This note provides data on some unusual inclusions in cells of Lyngbya.

LIGHT REACTION SYSTEMS IN CYANOPHYCEAE*
Photochemistry and Photobiology, 1965Abstract— In the blue green algae, Phormidium uncinatum and Ph. autumnale, movement in the dark is arrested by 2 × 10‐‐4 M DCPIP†, whereas photokinesis, i.e. the acceleration of the movement by light, is not markedly impaired. Thus at this concentration movement occurs in the light, but not in the dark.

Planta, 2014
The Cyanophyceae are shown not to be so well understood as might be expected. Their mode of development and reproduction, and their liability to modification cannot be comprehended without clone cultures. The lack of knowledge affects taxonomy as much as physiology.A few examples demonstrate deviations from generally accepted ideas.

The Nature of Pseudovacuoles in Cyanophyceae
Nature, 1966THE nature of the pseudovacuoles, or gas vacuoles, which occur in bacteria and Cyanophyceae, is still enigmatic, although a number of reviews have been devoted to them.

Notes on Javanese Calcicole Cyanophyceae
1939In West as well as in East Java a Cyanophyceae association has been found, that from both localities shows a remarkable similarity in composition. Both were growing on limestone rocks and had the same greyish velvety appearance. The localities are: West Java, Koeripan near Buitenzorg, alt. ± 200 m (LüTJEHARMS n. 5461, 4 VII 1936) and East Java, Malang,
