Orbitofrontal and Medial Frontal Gray Matter Volumes Are Associated With Hyperactivity Traits in 2548 Nonclinical Adults

In 2548 nonclinical adults, smaller orbitofrontal and medial frontal cortex gray matter volumes were associated with higher hyperactivity traits (r = −0.07 to −0.08). These small, robust effects, consistent with ENIGMA ADHD findings, suggest frontal structure–trait mapping extends to the nonclinical ADHD continuum.
