Tamper‐Responsive Physical Unclonable Functions via Graphene‐Interlayered Block Copolymer Random Structures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Self‐invalidating multilayer physical unclonable functions (PUFs) integrate fingerprint‐like metal nanopattern bilayers from block copolymer templates with highly reactive reduced graphene oxide (rGO) interlayers. This tamper‐responsive architecture blocks all unauthorized physical and chemical replication attempts while autonomously deactivating ...

Using a Zero‐Strain Reference Electrode to Distinguish Anode and Cathode Volume Changes in a Solid‐State Battery

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Volume changes of a solid‐state battery cell are separated into the individual contributions of anode and cathode. Simultaneously determining the “reaction volumes” of both electrodes requires a reference electrode with a pressure‐independent potential.

3D Nanorod‐Shaped Binder‐Free Ni1−xFexCo2O4 Anodes Demonstrate High Performance and Stable Operation Under Accelerated Stress Tests in Anion Exchange Membrane Water Electrolysis

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
3D shaping of Ni1‐xFexCo2O4 spinel electrocatalyst to form high aspect ratio nanorods, made of 25 nm grain size particles and directly grown on Nickel felt, is proposed to improve the performance of industrial catalysts based on group‐VIII transition‐metal oxides.

Thermoplastic Dielectric Coatings for Flexible Electrodynamic Dust Shields: Structural and Functional Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Thermoplastic attachment is introduced as a scalable surface coating strategy to improve the durability and dielectric reliability of flexible electrodynamic dust shields. By embedding chemically modified reduced graphene oxide (CMrGO) electrodes within thermoplastic laminates, mechanical degradation, abrasion damage, and vacuum‐induced electrical ...

Smart Electrospun Nanofibers for Controlled Oil‐Water Separation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Stimuli‐responsive electrospun nanofibers are reviewed as advanced platforms for controlled oil/water separation. The effects of surface wettability, porous structure, and external stimuli, including pH, temperature, gas, and light, on separation performance are discussed.
