A wide bandwidth digital to analog converter based on cyclic code
IEEE Photonic Society 24th Annual Meeting, 2011A simple digital to analog converter based on a cyclic code is presented. Device is a traveling wave Mach-Zehnder electro-optic modulator with segmented electrode and can be made very linear with very wide electrical bandwidth.

General variable neighbourhood search for cyclic bandwidth sum minimization problem
2012 Students Conference on Engineering and Systems, 2012In this paper we apply a general variable neighbourhood search (GVNS) to the cyclic bandwidth sum problem (CBSP). In CBSP the vertices of a graph must be laid out in a circle in such a way that the sum of the distances between pairs of vertices connected by an edge is minimized.

In this paper, a dynamic wavelength and bandwidth allocation with only Tuning ONU Buffering (DWBA-TOB) scheme and an OSU-ONU Synchronous Cyclic Sleep (OOCS) sleep scheme are compared as alternative methods for improving Optical Line Termination (OLT) energy efficiency. Experimental results show that, if ONUs are slow tuning devices and reconfigurations

In this paper, a power-efficient programmable gain amplifier (PGA) and a cyclic analog-to-digital converter (ADC) are developed for a satellite CMOS image sensor system. The cyclic ADC employs capacitor and opamp reuse techniques to reduce power consumption and occupied silicon area.

On bandwidth and cyclic bandwidth of graphs
Ars Comb., 1997Summary: Let \(B(G)\) and \(B_c(G)\) denote the bandwidth and cyclic bandwidth of graph \(G\), respectively. We give a sufficient condition for graphs to have equal bandwidth and cyclic bandwidth. This condition is satisfied by trees. Thus all theorems on bandwidth of graphs apply to cyclic bandwidth of graphs satisfying the sufficiency condition, and ...

Previous works showed that the throughputs of TCP BBR and CUBIC TCP fluctuated in a condition wherein they communicate concurrently. In this paper, we discuss the reason of this fluctuation. TCP BBR estimates the bottleneck link bandwidth (BtlBw) and the round-trip propagation delay time (RTprop) during communication.

The frequency spectrums are inefficiently utilized and cognitive radio has been proposed for full utilization of these spectrums. The central idea of cognitive radio is to allow the secondary user to use the spectrum concurrently with the primary user with the compulsion of minimum interference.

Extremely Wide-bandwidth Cyclic Arrayed Waveguide Grating for Waveband Routing on T-band and O-band
Advanced Photonics for Communications, 2014We propose a cyclic AWG for waveband routing on the entire T-band and O-band with flat spectral responses. Simulated results show that the worst frequency deviation is around 2 THz and the 1-dB bandwidth varies from 2.6 THz to 3.6 THz.
