Bandwidth allocation scheme for cyclic-service fieldbus networks
IEEE/ASME Transactions on Mechatronics, 2001Field devices in factory automation and process control systems generate time-critical, periodic, and time-available data that share the bandwidth of one fieldbus network medium. This paper presents a bandwidth allocation scheme that is applicable to cyclic-service fieldbus networks.

A Study of Recombination Operators for the Cyclic Bandwidth Problem
2020This work is dedicated to a study of the NP-hard Cyclic Bandwidth Problem with the paradigm of memetic algorithms. To find out how to choose or design a suitable recombination operator for the problem, we study five classical permutation crossovers within a basic memetic algorithm integrating a simple descent local search procedure.

Relabelling vertices according to the network structure by minimizing the cyclic bandwidth sum
Journal of Complex Networks, 2016Getting a labelling of vertices close to the structure of the graph has been proved to be of interest in many applications, e.g. to follow signals indexed by the vertices of the network. This question can be related to a graph labelling problem known as the cyclic bandwidth sum problem (CBSP).

Bandwidth Efficient Space-Frequency Codes Based on Cyclic Delay Diversity
IEEE Vehicular Technology Conference, 2006Cyclic delay diversity (CDD) is a simple and effective approach to exploit transmit diversity by increasing the channel frequency selectivity (diversity) in a multiple-input multiple- output (MIMO) OFDM system. The increased frequency diversity can then be exploited by concatenating some error control code, e.g.

The industrial Internet has become an important application scenario for time-division multiplexing passive optical networks (TDM-PONs). Time-sensitive (TS) industrial applications, such as control-to-control communications, require a TDM-PON to have deterministic transmission capability.

In recent years, an Ultra Wideband (UWB) has attracted much attention in short range high speed wireless communications. Meanwhile, the single-carrier transmission with frequency domain equalization (SC-FDE) has also recently at- tracted much attention.
