Monomial codes seen as invariant subspaces

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2017
It is well known that cyclic codes are very useful because of their applications, since they are not computationally expensive and encoding can be easily implemented. The relationship between cyclic codes and invariant subspaces is also well known.

Skew cyclic codes over $\mathbb{F}_{q}+v\mathbb{F}_{q}+v^{2}\mathbb{F}_{q}$

open access: yes, 2015
In this article, we study skew cyclic codes over ring $R=\mathbb{F}_{q}+v\mathbb{F}_{q}+v^{2}\mathbb{F}_{q}$, where $q=p^{m}$, $p$ is an odd prime and $v^{3}=v$.

Patient‐Level Barriers and Facilitators to Inpatient Physical Therapy in Adolescents and Young Adults With a Hematological Malignancy: A Qualitative Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Despite their increased risk for functional impairment resulting from cancer and its treatments, few adolescents and young adults (AYAs) with a hematological malignancy receive the recommended or therapeutic dose of exercise per week during inpatient hospitalizations.

Optimal quinary cyclic codes with minimum distance four

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2017
Cyclic codes are an extremely important subclass of linear codes. They are widely used in the communication systems and data storage systems because they have efficient encoding and decoding algorithm.Until now,how to construct the optimal ternary cyclic ...

Five Families of Three-Weight Ternary Cyclic Codes and Their Duals

open access: yes, 2013
As a subclass of linear codes, cyclic codes have applications in consumer electronics, data storage systems, and communication systems as they have efficient encoding and decoding algorithms.

On conjugacy classes of subgroups of the general linear group and cyclic orbit codes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Orbit codes are a family of codes employable for communications on a random linear network coding channel. The paper focuses on the classification of these codes.

A Cre‐dependent lentiviral vector for neuron subtype‐specific expression of large proteins

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We designed a versatile and modular lentivector comprising a Cre‐dependent switch and self‐cleaving 2A peptide and tested it for co‐expression of GFP and a 2.8 kb gene of interest (GOI) in mouse cortical parvalbumin (PV+) interneurons and midbrain dopamine (TH+) neurons.

On the Structure of Cyclic Codes Over $\mathbb{F}_{q}{RS}$ and Applications in Quantum and LCD Codes Constructions

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Let p be an odd prime, q = pm, R = Fq + uFq with u2 = 1, and S = Fq + uFq + vFq + uvFq with u2 = 1, v2 = 1, uv = vu. In this paper, FqRS-cyclic codes over FqRS are studied.

Reproducible families of codes and cryptographic applications

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Cryptology, 2021
Structured linear block codes such as cyclic, quasi-cyclic and quasi-dyadic codes have gained an increasing role in recent years both in the context of error control and in that of code-based cryptography.

The Caenorhabditis elegans DPF‐3 and human DPP4 have tripeptidyl peptidase activity

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPPIV) family comprises serine proteases classically defined by their ability to remove dipeptides from the N‐termini of substrates, a feature that gave the family its name. Here, we report the discovery of a previously unrecognized tripeptidyl peptidase activity in DPPIV family members from two different species.
