Cyclic Conjugation in Peropyrenes
Polycyclic Aromatic Compounds, 1991Abstract Cyclic conjugation in benzenoid hydrocarbons is studied in the series of peropyrene and its 42 mono–, di–, tri–, tetra–, penta– and hexabenzo derivatives. Some general regularities in the conjugation pattern of these molecules are pointed out.

Theoretica Chimica Acta, 1984
A novel approach to the theory of cyclic conjugation is proposed, which is free of some disadvantages of the previously used methods. It is shown that in the general case the effect of cyclic conjugation is an additive function of individual ring effects.

Cyclic Conjugation Effects in Cyclacenes
Polycyclic Aromatic Compounds, 1996Abstract Cyclic conjugation is studied in Huckel and Mobius cyclacenes as well as in a few other related open-chain and cyclic belt-shaped hydrocarbons (e.g., zig-zag cyclarenes). the main conclusions are that (a) the energy effect of the conjugation along the perimeter of cyclacenes is relatively large, (b) conjugation along the 6 -, 10 - and 14 ...

Cyclic, modified and conjegated peptides
1993The subject matter for this Chapter has again been allocated sub-headings that reflect main subject areas under which a reasonable number of publications have been cited. In the absence of a detailed keyword index, the sub-headings also provide continuity from previous volumes, so that searching the...

Aromaticity/antiaromaticity in cyclic conjugated hydrocarbons
International Journal of Quantum Chemistry, 2002AbstractThe physical reason for aromaticity/antiaromaticity was determined. The conclusion was reached after interpreting Hobey's mathematical results that were given in the study of the energy difference between the one‐dimensional linear and cyclic particles‐in‐a‐box models.

Conjugating cyclic \(n\)-color compositions
Utilitas MathematicaMacMahon extensively studied integer compositions, including the notion of conjugation. More recently, Agarwal introduced \(n\)-color compositions and their cyclic versions were considered by Gibson, Gray, and Wang. In this paper, we develop and study a conjugation rule for cyclic \(n\)-color compositions.

HPMA copolymer–cyclic RGD conjugates for tumor targeting☆☆☆
Advanced Drug Delivery Reviews, 2010This review describes the design and development of N-(2-hydroxypropyl)-methacrylamide (HPMA) copolymer-cyclic RGD conjugates for targeting tumor angiogenesis. Relative to non-targetable systems, HPMA copolymer-RGD4C and -RGDfK conjugates have shown increased tumor accumulation in a variety of solid tumors including prostate, lung, and breast tumor ...
