ChemInform Abstract: Cyclic, Modified and Conjugated Peptides
ChemInform, 1992AbstractChemInform is a weekly Abstracting Service, delivering concise information at a glance that was extracted from about 100 leading journals. To access a ChemInform Abstract of an article which was published elsewhere, please select a “Full Text” option. The original article is trackable via the “References” option.

Cyclic conjugation and the hückel molecular orbital model
Theoretica Chimica Acta, 1981A new graphic polynomial, μ (G, t), has been introduced which depends on a vectort and which reduces to the characteristic and matching polynomial of the graphG for certain choices oft. This leads to a unification of a great part of the previously developed theories of the characteristic and matching polynomials.

Cyclic conjugation effects: individual, collective and overall
Chemical Physics Letters, 1993Abstract The effect of cyclic conjugation on the thermodynamic stability of conjugated molecules is analyzed by means of graph-theoretical techniques. Three kinds of such effects can be distinguished: of individual cycles, of groups (pairs, triplets, etc.) of cycles and the simultaneous interaction of all cycles.

Radical Cations of Conjugated Cyclic Disulfides
1990Persistent radical cations of heterocycles containing two conjugated sulfur atoms are readily detected by ESR spectroscopy. These systems are often more persistent than their acyclic analogues because scission of a sulfur-sulfur bond does not lead to irreversible decomposition.

Preparation of cyclic nucleotide antisera with thyroglobulin-cyclic nucleotide conjugates.
Journal of cyclic nucleotide research, 1981Antisera to cyclic AMP and cyclic GMP were obtained by immunizing rabbits with antigens prepared by conjugating the 2'0-succinyl derivative of the cyclic nucleotides to thyroglobulin. The cyclic nucleotide-thyroglobulin conjugates were injected intradermally into multiple sites on the backs of the animals.

Immune stimulants (adjuvants) enhance immune system recognition to provide an effective and individualized immune response when delivered with an antigen. Synthetic cyclic deca-peptides, co-administered with a toll-like receptor targeting lipopeptide, have shown self-adjuvant properties, dramatically boosting the immune response in a murine model as a ...
