Intelligent Grazing UAV Based on Airborne Depth Reasoning

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2022
The existing precision grazing technology helps to improve the utilization rate of livestock to pasture, but it is still at the level of “collectivization” and cannot provide more accurate grazing management and control.

Rethinking interactive networks and regression loss functions for industrial defect detection

open access: yesJournal of King Saud University: Computer and Information Sciences, 2023
Defect detection of industrial products is crucial to ensure product quality and use safety. However, the following difficulties still exist complex defect background, the large similarity between defect classes and weak semantic information, and ...

Synchronous processing of orthogonal cyclic AFM signals under conditions of reception gain coefficient uncertainty

open access: yesТехнологія та конструювання в електронній апаратурі
A method has been proposed for synchronizing modems that use a system of cyclic amplitude-phase keyed signals encoded by multi-level numerical sequences with an ideal periodic autocorrelation function to transmit information.

Long Lead ENSO Forecast Using an Adaptive Graph Convolutional Recurrent Neural Network

open access: yesEngineering Proceedings, 2023
El Niño-Southern Oscillation (ENSO), a natural phenomenon in the Pacific Ocean, is caused by cyclic changes in sea-surface temperature (SST) and the overlying atmosphere in the tropical Pacific.

A multi-scale cyclic-shift window Transformer object tracker based on fast Fourier transform

open access: yesElectronic Research Archive
In recent years, Transformer-based object trackers have demonstrated exceptional performance in object tracking. However, traditional methods often employ single-scale pixel-level attention mechanisms to compute the correlation between templates and ...

Stiffness Analysis and Verification of Hydraulic Supporting Units for In-Situ Optical Testing of a 500 mm-Diameter Mirror

open access: yesMachines, 2022
A hydraulic in-situ support system is commonly used in the optical testing of mirrors, since it is convenient to unload the gravity of a mirror to be measured without the risk of being turned over or moved to another place.

An upstream open reading frame regulates expression of the mitochondrial protein Slm35 and mitophagy flux

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.
