An algebra L over a field F is said to be a Leibniz algebra (more precisely, a left Leibniz algebra) if it satisfies the Leibniz identity: [[a, b], c] = [a, [b, c]]−[b, [a, c]] for all a, b, c ∊ L. Leibniz algebras are generalizations of Lie algebras.

Syntomic cohomology and real topological cyclic homology

Abstract We define motivic filtrations on real topological Hochschild homology and its companions. In particular, we prove that real topological cyclic homology admits a natural complete filtration whose graded pieces are equivariant suspensions of syntomic cohomology.

Abstract We construct an algebraic model for the Chas–Sullivan product and the Goresky–Hingston coproduct in string topology. The construction takes as its initial input a simplicial complex equipped with a local pairing on its simplicial chains, for instance, a homology manifold with its local intersection pairing.
