Atomized Oxidative Polymerization as a 3D Printing Platform for Binder‐Free, Bulk Conductive Polymer Architectures

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Co‐delivery of electrosprayed EDOT and oxidant enables bulk oxidative polymerization during layer‐by‐layer fabrication, creating stable, highly conductive 3D PEDOT structures. This Atomized Oxidative Polymerization (AOP) overcomes the surface deposition‐only and matrix‐limited conductivity of conventional Vapor Phase Polymerization (VPP) and PEDOT:PSS ...

Study on Nonlinear Damage Creep Model for Rocks under Cyclic Loading and Unloading

open access: yes, 2021
To determine the nonlinear creep characteristics of rocks under cyclic loading and unloading conditions, a nonlinear Kelvin model and damage viscoplastic model are proposed.

Standardized Effect Measures Informing Next‐Generation Strategies for Mechanical Stimulation in Cartilage Tissue Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This systematic review quantitatively compares conventional mechanical stimulation strategies in cartilage tissue engineering across 85 heterogeneous in vitro studies. Applying standardized effect measures, meta‐analysis reveals that combined compression and shear loading optimally promotes cartilage matrix development.

Deformation, failure, and acoustic emission response characteristics of fractured sandstone under cyclic loading and unloading

open access: yesMeitan kexue jishu
In coal mining activities, periodic mining disturbances cause fractured rock mass to bear cyclic loads. In this paper, cyclic loading and unloading tests of fractured sandstone under different loading and unloading amplitudes are carried out, and the ...

Strain Energy Dissipation Characteristics and Neural Network Model during Uniaxial Cyclic Loading and Unloading of Dry and Saturated Sandstone

open access: yes, 2023
The energy dissipation characteristics are important features of rock damage and failure during loading. However, the quantitative relationship between energy dissipation and rock failure is not clear.

Adaptable Covalent Organic Framework‐Hydrogel Microneedles for Glucose‐Responsive Isoliquiritigenin Delivery in Diabetic Wound Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
We develop a covalent organic framework‐loaded Traditional Chinese Medicine monomer nanodrug delivery system (ISL@bCOF) via boron‐oxygen bonds, a smart response to glucose for delivering AI‐driven isoliquiritigenin (ISL) targeting ZBP1. This dynamic release mechanism, combined with transdermal delivery technology via potent microneedles, can modulate ...

Study on the Mechanical Behavior and Seepage Evolution Law of Deep Unloaded Rock Mass Under Cyclic Loading

open access: yesApplied Sciences
To investigate the seepage and deformation failure characteristics of deep unloaded rock mass under cyclic loading and unloading disturbance, a series of triaxial cyclic loading and unloading tests were conducted on granite.

Mechanical and Acoustic Response of Low-Permeability Sandstone under Multilevel Cyclic Loading-Unloading Stress Paths

open access: yes, 2023
Low-permeability sandstone reservoirs have been widely used as a gas storage medium worldwide. Compared with the high porosity and high permeability of sandstone, low-permeability sandstone may present different mechanical (deformation, damage or failure)

Bacteria‐Responsive Nanostructured Drug Delivery Systems for Targeted Antimicrobial Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Bacteria‐responsive nanocarriers are designed to release antimicrobials only in the presence of infection‐specific cues. This selective activation ensures drug release precisely at the site of infection, avoiding premature or indiscriminate release, and enhancing efficacy.

Experimental Study on Seepage Properties of Postpeak Fractured Rocks under Cyclic Loading-Unloading Confining Stress and Axial Stress

open access: yes, 2021
Excavation in rock masses always encounters safety problems from rock fracture seepage in water-rich areas, which needs to be paid much attention, especially for fractured rocks under complicated stress state.
