Disruption of the SNRPF–DDX24–E2F4 Feedback Loop Uncouples Splicing and Transcriptional Regulation to Suppress Ovarian Cancer Progression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies SNRPF as a critical oncogenic driver in ovarian cancer. By regulating a self‐sustaining SNRPF–DDX24–E2F4 feedback loop through intron retention and nonsense‐mediated decay, SNRPF couples RNA splicing with transcriptional regulation to promote tumor progression.

High Speed Low Power Cyclic Redundancy Check-32 using FPGA

open access: yes, 2019
Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) is a method used for error detection technique and data integrity. CRC take a block of a message‟s bits and divide it by a binary number called polynomial, the result of this division is the checksum that will be added to ...

Streptavidins Coordinate Biotin Sequestration and Self‐Resistance Within a Biotin‐Pathway Antibiotic Network

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A conserved genomic region between two streptavidin genes in Streptomyces packages biosynthetic gene clusters for diverse biotin‐pathway antibiotics: acidomycin, stravidin, the new non‐proteinogenic amino acid ANDA, and the new BioA inhibitor α‐methyl‐KAPA.

Sustainable Materials Design With Multi‐Modal Artificial Intelligence

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Critical mineral scarcity, high embodied carbon, and persistent pollution from materials processing intensify the need for sustainable materials design. This review frames the problem as multi‐objective optimization under heterogeneous, high‐dimensional evidence and highlights multi‐modal AI as an enabling pathway.

P-LDPC coded image transmission with OFDM over underwater acoustic channel

open access: yesActa Polytechnica
Underwater environment is still an attractive area to explore and exploit by human beings. However, underwater characteristics limit communications due to harsh channel conditions, and efficient channel codes are essential to deploy. This study presents

Cyclic Low-Density MDS Array Codes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
We construct two infinite families of low density MDS array codes which are also cyclic. One of these families includes the first such sub-family with redundancy parameter r> 2.

Frame-asynchronous physical-layer network coding using cyclic codes

open access: yes, 2014
Physical-layer network coding (PNC) is an innovative technique for improving the efficiency of wireless communication systems. In theory, due to the utilisation of superimposed signals at a wireless relay, PNC can double the system throughput when ...

The Landscape and Regulation of Histone Crotonylation in Mammalian Gametes and Early Embryos

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Histone crotonylation undergoes a genome‐wide transition from broad domains to canonical narrow peaks during minor zygotic genome activation (ZGA). This remodeling is required for proper major ZGA and blastocyst formation. Disruption of this transition by transcriptional inhibition, metabolic perturbation, or HDAC1 dysfunction impairs embryonic ...
