Cyclic stepping spectrum sensing based on energy detection

2011 International Conference on Mechatronic Science, Electric Engineering and Computer (MEC), 2011
Spectrum sensing plays a key role in cognitive radio, which enables secondary users to identify and utilize vacant spectrum resources allocated to primary users. In this paper, we focused on the implementation and application of the sepectrum sensing algorithm.

Cyclical monotonicity of maximal monotone step operators

Boletim da Sociedade Brasileira de Matemática, 1982
Let X and Y be two locally convex Hausdorff topological vector spaces paired by a bilinear form \(\). A multimapping \(T: X\to 2^ y\) is said to be a locally step operator if each \(x\in X\) has a neighborhood U such that \(\{Ty\}_{y\in U}\) is a finite family of sets, that is, if locally T takes a finite number of set values.

Mild One-step Synthesis of Dibromo Compounds from Cyclic Ethers

The Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2012
A novel one-step method for mildly converting cyclic ethers into dibromo compounds is reported. Alcohols, oximes, aldehydes, and ketones are known to react under Appel or Corey-Fuchs reaction conditions, but apparently these have never been applied to oxetanes or larger cyclic ethers.

Cyclic imino ethers in step-growth polymerizations

Progress in Polymer Science, 2002
The synthesis of oxazoline and oxazine type monomers is explored, with focus mainly on those methods of most commercial significance. The many varied reactions of cyclic imino ethers with various other functionalities are also discussed, with the main focus being on those reactions most useful to form polymers.

Test on cyclic creep behavior of mucky clay in Shanghai under step cyclic loading

Environmental Earth Sciences, 2010
Based on the cyclic triaxial test under step loading, the variation of cyclic creep and pore water pressure with increase in cyclic stress ratio (CSR) and load cycle of mucky clay in Shanghai were analyzed. The results show that there are two threshold values of stability cyclic stress ratio and failure cyclic stress ratio during the step loading which

Square wave electrolysis II: The cyclic current‐step method

Recueil des Travaux Chimiques des Pays-Bas, 1960
AbstractA new method, designated the cyclic current‐step method, for the evaluation of kinetic parameters of electrochemical processes (especially the exchange current j0) is introduced in addition to the well‐known (single) current‐step method. Its essential basis is that a square wave current is forced through a polarisable electrode and the voltage ...

Square wave electrolysis. I. The cyclic potential‐step method

Recueil des Travaux Chimiques des Pays-Bas, 1960
AbstractDrawbacks of the well‐known potential‐step method are briefly mentioned. A new method called the cyclic potential‐step method is introduced, the essential of which is that a square wave voltage is applied to a polarisable electrode. It is shown mathematically that the current response approaches rapidly to a constant pattern.

On a Class of One-Step Majority-Logic Decodable Cyclic Codes

IBM Journal of Research and Development, 1980
Majority-logic decoding is attractive for three reasons: (1) It can be simply implemented; (2) the decoding delay is short; and (3) its performance, while suboptimal, is always superior to bounded distance decoding. For these reasons, majority-logic decodable cyclic codes are very suitable for error control in high speed digital data transmission ...

Iterative multi-step decoding for a class of multi-step majority-logic decodable cyclic codes

2014 8th International Symposium on Turbo Codes and Iterative Information Processing (ISTC), 2014
This paper presents an iterative multi-step decoding algorithm for a class of multi-step majority-logic (MS-MLG) decodable cyclic codes. The proposed algorithm is capable of efficient decoding the MS-MLG decodable cyclic codes with large number of short cycles of length 4.

The formation of cyclic oligomers during step-growth polymerization

2004
Step-growth polymerization is controlled both by the efficiency of the synthetic routes chosen (as indicated in Chapter 4) and by statistical considerations. In particular, the formation of the desired polymer is almost always accompanied by a cyclic oligomer fraction.
