ABSTRACT Background Elinzanetant, a novel, dual neurokinin‐targeted therapy, has been approved in various geographies for the treatment of moderate‐to‐severe vasomotor symptoms (VMS) associated with menopause. Objective To compare the efficacy of elinzanetant with non‐hormonal pharmaceutical treatments (nHT) in alleviating VMS.

Hydrogenolysis of Guaiacol to Phenol Over Ru‐FeOx Nanoparticles Supported on TiO2
This work demonstrates that the Ru/FeOx–TiO2 catalyst enables selective CAr–OCH3 bond cleavage in water, achieving a phenol selectivity of 81.1% at a 90.4% conversion of guaiacol. The synergy between Ru and FeOx can effectively promote the selective hydrogenolysis of CAr–OCH3 bonds without the obvious hydrogenation of the benzene ring.

Using a coordinated regulation strategy of interface and ligand, we developed a nickel cobalt sulfide/carboxylate ligand‐modified nickel cobalt hydroxide composite (NiCo‐S/NiCo‐OH‐CL) with abundant heterointerfaces. Owing to the porous network, sulfur‐repellent hydrophilic surface, and dual electronic structure regulation, the coupled electrolysis ...

Ni is active in the hydrogenolysis reaction of interest, while Cu is inactive. However, catalysts containing bimetallic particles with fewer Ni atoms per particle are more active than bimetallic particles containing more Ni. The Ni loading in individual particles can be controlled by the preparation protocol.

The first sacrificial anodeless electrosynthesis of succinic and adipic acids from CO2 and ethylene is reported. Oxidation of DMF, oxalate, and urea at carbon‐based anodes facilitate the conversion in an undivided cell. Bayesian optimization of the reaction enables combined diacid current efficiencies up to 53%, surpassing previous works ...

A palladium‐catalyzed alkynylation of cinnamyl carbonates with terminal alkynes provides efficient and stereoretentive access to 1,4‐enynes, enabling the synthesis of challenging diarylalkenyl propargylic frameworks. A mild and efficient palladium‐catalyzed alkynylation of 3‐aryl, 3,3‐diaryl, and aliphatic allylic carbonates with terminal alkynes has ...

Thymus vulgaris essential oil (TvEO), largely composed of thymol, showed strong bactericidal activity with Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) being most sensitive. TvEO markedly inhibited MRSA biofilm formation and significantly reduced established biofilms. Molecular docking suggests several TvEO components interact with proteins involved in S.

Fe‐Modified Co/CeO2 Catalysts for Sustainable Cyclohexane Oxidation
Bimetallic FexCoy/CeO2 catalysts and the corresponding Co/CeO2 and Fe/CeO2 have been studied for cyclohexane oxidation. In the presence of benzaldehyde, Fe1Co2/CeO2 showed a synergistic effect reaching the highest cyclohexane conversion to KA oil. The presence of Co2+/Fe3+ species is accountable of synergy.
