Parametric Design of Cycloid Gear Based on SolidWorks
Advanced Materials Research, 2012In order to improve the efficiency and quality of design of complex parts, cycloid gear, in the pin-cycloidal transmission, this paper used SolidWorks to built accurately cycloid gear 3d model, and the VBA to program procedure for the secondary development, realized the parametric design of cycloid gear.

Design and investigation of a cycloid helical gear drive
Journal of Mechanical Science and Technology, 2017In this paper, an original analysis of the geometric design of a parallel-axis cycloid helical gear drive and an investigation on its basic meshing characteristics are presented. This type of gear drive consists of a pinion with one tooth and a cycloid-helix gear in continuous line contact along the whole length of the tooth.

Sliding ratio for novel cycloidal gear drive
Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Part C: Journal of Mechanical Engineering Science, 2017In this paper, for a novel spur cycloidal gear drive with a modified tooth profile, the equations of the sliding ratio are deduced from those of its tooth profile. Using the sliding ratio equations, the sliding ratio of the novel cycloidal gear drive is investigated and effects of the drive parameters on the sliding ratio are analysed.
