Experimental Setup for Studying the Capture of Sulfur and Nitrogen Oxides from Flue Gases
The pilot unit is developed for adaptation of the absorptive mathematical model in a scrubber of the Venturi on a finding of factors of phase equilibrium by algorithm working off in the absorptive processes of extraction SO2 on water.

Southwest Asia remains understudied in high‐resolution regional climate modelling despite its climatic sensitivity and complex orography. We compare WRF (10 km), CESM (~2°), and ERA5 (0.25°) for 1950–2002, with supplementary validation against CHIRPS and PERSIANN‐CDR. WRF corrects the unrealistic summer precipitation overestimation of CESM and improves

Numerical Simulation of Air Flow inside Acoustic Cyclone Separator
This paper presents a novel concept of cyclone separator where sound waves are used to agglomerate fine particles. Sound waves generated by Hartmann acoustic generator are introduced into the secondary (core) air flow of cyclone separator.

Crop wild relatives (CWR) in Zimbabwe are reservoirs of beneficial agronomic traits, yet they remain under‐documented and poorly conserved. This study developed Zimbabwe's first national CWR checklist based on a conceptual framework combining floristic, ecological and ethnobotanical data, revealing over 2700 taxa, with nearly 1000 edible species ...

Presence and abundance of Botryosphaeria dieback inoculum were determined using spore trapping and droplet digital polymerase chain reaction in British Columbia, Canada. Highest inoculum was recorded in spring (April–June) and again in summer (July–September). These results suggest early pruning in December–January can mitigate pruning wound infections.

Experimental investigation of processes in acoustic cyclone separator
This paper presents air flow velocity profiles obtained in conventional and acoustic cyclone separators. It is shown that vortex air flow is created in acoustical cyclone separator in presence of secondary countercurrent air flow.

Modelling and performance evaluation of a soot cyclone separator [PDF]
Thesis (M.Ing. (Nuclear Engineering))--North-West University, Potchefstroom Campus, 2010.This mini-dissertation reports on the performance of a cyclone separator used to remove excess soot that is typically formed during the production of pebble fuel for
