Infections after T‐replete haploidentical transplantation and high‐dose cyclophosphamide as graft‐versus‐host disease prophylaxis

open access: yesTransplant Infectious Disease, 2015
Recently, a platform of T‐cell replete haploidentical hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (haplo‐HSCT) using post‐transplant cyclophosphamide (Cy) has shown high reproducibility and acceptable safety profile.

Activin A–Activated ALK4 Induces Pathogenic Th17‐Involved Endothelial–Mesenchymal Transition in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus–Associated Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension

open access: yesArthritis &Rheumatology, EarlyView.
Objective Autoimmune diseases, such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), are associated with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), a condition that can lead to heart failure. However, whether T cells also contribute to the occurrence of PAH in SLE has not been clarified.

Peripheral Blood Gene Expression Profiling and Prognostic Significance for the Course of Interstitial Lung Disease in Patients With Systemic Sclerosis

open access: yesArthritis &Rheumatology, EarlyView.
Objective We used data from the placebo arm of the Safety and Efficacy of Nintedanib in Systemic Sclerosis (SENSCIS) trial to determine the prognostic/predictive significance of peripheral blood cell (PBC) transcript modules for the course of forced vital capacity (FVC) in patients with systemic sclerosis–associated interstitial lung disease (SSc‐ILD ...

Expert Perspective: Diagnosis and Treatment of Castleman Disease

open access: yesArthritis &Rheumatology, Accepted Article.
Summary Castleman disease (CD) is a major diagnostic challenge for Rheumatologists. Unicentric CD (UCD) involves one enlarged lymph node region whereas multicentric CD (MCD) involves multiple enlarged lymph node regions. Both UCD and MCD may exhibit a wide range of symptoms that overlap with other immune‐mediated conditions.
