A gas‐tight bonding/sealing of different bulk ceramics for robust oxygen separation at ultra‐high temperatures

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Ceramic Technology, Volume 23, Issue 1, February 2026.
A gas‐tight bonding/sealing of different bulk ceramics allows the operation of membrane up to the maximum temperature permitted by the membrane materials and demonstrates excellent robustness and stability in long‐term and thermal cycling tests. Abstract Oxygen transport membrane (OTM) is an economic technology for oxygen separation and high‐purity ...

Smaller feature size impairs densification in digital light processing 3D printed ceramic samples

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Ceramic Technology, Volume 23, Issue 1, February 2026.
Abstract In this study, we investigate how geometric miniaturization affects the sintering densification behavior of alumina cylinders with various wall thicknesses (down to ∼500 µm in green body) fabricated via digital light processing (DLP). As the wall thickness decreased, the density of the sintered samples consistently declined.

Enhancing Graphite Nanoplatelet Dispersion in PP Composites via Chemical Pretreatment for Cost‐Effective Packaging Applications

open access: yesJournal of Polymer Science, Volume 64, Issue 2, Page 340-349, 15 January 2026.
Polypropylene nanocomposites with untreated and pretreated graphite nanoplatelets (GnP) exhibited distinct reinforcement mechanisms. Untreated GnP enhanced stiffness and thermal stability through stacked structures, while pretreated GnP improved impact strength and flexibility at low temperatures via exfoliated morphologies.
