In this study, a new sub-parametric strip element is developed to simulate the axially loaded composite cylindrical panel with arbitrary cutout. For this purpose, a code called SSFSM is developed in FORTRAN to analyze the buckling of panels.

This study introduces a type of inflatable fabric‐based kirigami actuator capable of performing bending motion. The actuator is utilized as soft grippers, a crawling robot and a swimming robot. The crawling robot demonstrated extraordinary motion capabilities, such as moving forward, turning and navigating a narrow tunnel.

Nigra‐Subthalamic Dopaminergic Circuitry Modulates and Represents Distinct Pain Modality in Physiological and Pain States in Mice

Nigral dopaminergic (DA) neurons modulate and represent pain with a preference to a particular modality (mechanical) and laterality (contralateral), which are controlled by nigral GABAergic neurons. The pain modulation is mimicked by the nigro‐subthalamic projection and its downstream neurons, involving D2‐like receptors.
