Fundamentals of Geo-Positioning Reference Frames, Map Projections and Their Applications [PDF]
: A map is defined as a miniature drawing of the Earth's surface or part of it. The designation was based on many projections used to transmit information from reality to the map, and this would be in the processing of geospatial information.

THE THIRD PROJECTION OF THE MOTION EQUATION IN THE CYLINDRICAL COORDINATE SYSTEM
Sophisticated viscous compressible heat-conducting gases arising during heating the vertical field, have a pronounced axial symmetry. Therefore, for the numerical solution of the full Navier-Stokes equations to describe such gas flows is advisable to use

THE SECOND PROJECTION OF THE MOTION EQUATION IN THE CYLINDRICAL COORDINATE SYSTEM
The complex flows of viscous compressible heat-conducting gas arising during heating the vertical field, have a pronounced axial symmetry. Therefore, for the numerical solution of the complete Navier-Stokes equations system to describe such gas flows it ...

A Variational Approach to 3D Cylindrical Geometry Reconstruction from Multiple Views
In this paper we present a variational technique for the reconstruction of 3D cylindrical surfaces. Roughly speaking by a cylindrical surface we mean a surface that can be parameterized using the projection on a cylinder in terms of two coordinates, (l, ?

Dynamic Point Cloud Compression Based on Projections, Surface Reconstruction and Video Compression
In this paper we will present a new dynamic point cloud compression based on different projection types and bit depth, combined with the surface reconstruction algorithm and video compression for obtained geometry and texture maps. Texture maps have been

Cylindrical Projections as a Limiting Case of Conic Projections
Lambert (1772) derived the equation of the Mercator projection as a limiting case of a conformal conic projection. In this paper, we give a derivation for equidistant, equal-area, conformal and perspective cylindrical projections as limiting cases of equidistant, equal-area, conformal and perspective conic projections.

PROJECTING PROCEDURE FOR METAMATERIAL CYLINDRICAL WAVEGUIDE
In this paper a new way of derivation of an evolution equation for short pulses in a dielectric waveguide including one model of a metamaterial waveguide is shown. This derivation model relies upon projecting to an orthogonal basis. In our case such orthogonal basis for cylindrical waveguides is chosen as Bessel functions.

FIRST PROJECTION OF THE EQUATION OF MOTION IN THE CYLINDRICAL COORDINATE SYSTEM
It is proved that complex flows of the viscous compressible heat-conducting gas, arising during heating the vertical field, have a pronounced axial symmetry.

Cylindrical algebraic decomposition using local projections [PDF]
We present an algorithm which computes a cylindrical algebraic decomposition of a semialgebraic set using projection sets computed for each cell separately. Such local projection sets can be significantly smaller than the global projection set used by the Cylindrical Algebraic Decomposition (CAD) algorithm.

3D flame reconstruction and error calculation from a schlieren projection
In this work a 3D flame reconstruction is performed from a 2D projection of the hot gases of a combustion flame. The projection is obtained using an optical schlieren technique.
