Microstrip antennas on multilayer cylindrical and quasi-cylindrical structures
IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium. 2001 Digest. Held in conjunction with: USNC/URSI National Radio Science Meeting (Cat. No.01CH37229), 2002A method to analyze cylindrical and quasi-cylindrical multilayer microstrip antennas is presented. The method is based on the integral equation technique in combination with spectral domain approach. In the first step the dyadic Green's function of the cylindrical structure is derived in the spectral domain by the use of an equivalent circuit.

Applications include rolled-up circuits using flexible dielectric material, transition adapter, balun, slotted line, and other special transmission lines. Effects of warpage on the impedances of planar strip and microstriplines are also presented.
