CYLINDRICAL LONG WAVE INTO A CYLINDRICAL SHELF
Based on the linear non-dispersive theory, the reflection of a Converging Cylindrical long wave, of wave length L, onto a Cylindrical shelf, of radius r = a and positive or negative height A h relative to an otherwise flat bottom, is study analitically.

Cylindrical Wiener Processes [PDF]
In this work cylindrical Wiener processes on Banach spaces are defined by means of cylindrical stochastic processes, which are a well considered mathematical object. This approach allows a definition which is a simple straightforward extension of the real-valued situation.

The low cycle fatigue life of additive manufactured HAYNES® 282® superalloy was investigated for conventional and high‐productivity processing: samples of the former lasted 1400–1700 cycles, while samples of the latter failed at ~ 1200 cycles, at 760 °C and 1% strain.

Kaluza-Klein 5D Ideas Made Fully Geometric
After the 1916 success of General relativity that explained gravity by adding time as a fourth dimension, physicists have been trying to explain other physical fields by adding extra dimensions.

This article demonstrates the successful qualification of a copper–tungsten composite for laser powder bed fusion. The resulting components exhibited high density, high thermal conductivity, and reduced thermal expansion. Heat sinks with complex geometries were successfully manufactured, clearly showcasing the material's potential for additive ...

Stars in five dimensional Kaluza Klein gravity
In the five dimensional Kaluza Klein (KK) theory there is a well known class of static and electromagnetic--free KK--equations characterized by a naked singularity behavior, namely the Generalized Schwarzschild solution (GSS).

A slab of negatively refracting material is known to focus light and if 1 n = the focussing will be perfect, producing an image which is an exact replica of the object. Magnifying the image requires a new design concept in which the surface of the negatively refracting lens is curved.

Additive manufacturing (AM) allows great geometric freedom for lightweight components. As parts are progressively optimized exploiting potentials in AM leading in smaller material cross sections, high pressure solution treating and aging (STA) treatments show an enormous potential for strongly improving material properties.
