Isolation and characterization of microsatellite loci in Cylindrocladium parasiticum

open access: yesMolecular Ecology Notes, 2006
AbstractTwelve polymorphic microsatellite markers were developed for Cylindrocladium parasiticum, a plant pathogen with a wide host range and the causal agent of the serious disease of peanuts (Arachis hypogaea) known as cylindrocladium black rot (CBR). Polymorphism was evaluated on 17 isolates from different hosts and regions.

NOTES ON THE GENUS CYLINDROCLADIUM (Fungi: Mucedinaceae)

open access: yesReinwardtia, 2015
The genus Cylindrocladivm was erected by Morgan in 1892 for a Mucedinaceous fungus with Penicillium-like branching and long, cylindrical, two-celled conidia. The original diagnosis runs: — Cylindrocladium Morgan.

Fungicidal Activity and In Silico Studies of Triazoles Derived From Glycerol Against Neocosmospora falciformis, A Causal Agent of Guava Tree Decline. [PDF]

open access: yesChem Biodivers
Among seventeen 1,2,3‐triazoles synthetized from glycerol (4a–4q), compound 4l completely inhibited mycelial growth and eliminated N. falciformis spores at 1,000 µg/mL, exhibiting enhanced antifungalactivity and strong binding within the FsCYP51 active site, which highlights its promise as a lead candidate for antifungal development in both biological ...

Genetic Variation in Cylindrocladium floridanum and other Morphologically Similar Cylindrocladium Species [PDF]

open access: yesSystematic and Applied Microbiology, 1997
Summary Species of Cylindrocladium (C.) are anamorphs of the genus Calonectria (C a .), and are important pathogens of numerous crops worldwide. C. floridanum is characterized by short, 1-septate, straight, cylindrical conidia and sphaeropedunculate vesicles. Isolates of Ca. kyotensis (anam. C. floridanum ), Ca. candelabra (anam.

FUNGOS ASSOCIADOS À MANCHA FOLIAR EM Eucalyptus benthamii Maiden et Cambage NA REGIÃO SUL DO BRASIL

open access: yesBIOFIX Scientific Journal, 2017
Um dos fatores mais importantes que influenciam no sucesso de plantios florestais é a fitossanidade dos mesmos. Doenças foliares causadas por fungos têm sido frequentemente constatadas em plantios de eucalipto em diversas regiões do Brasil.

Seed Transmission of Cylindrocladium parasiticum in Peanut [PDF]

open access: yesPlant Disease, 2001
Seedborne Cylindrocladium parasiticum has been reported in peanuts and the possibility of seed transmission postulated; however, seed transmission has not been documented. Cinnamon brown speckles on peanut testae were correlated with isolation of C. parasiticum.

First Report of Cylindrocladium Black Rot Caused by Cylindrocladium parasiticum on Peanut in Texas

open access: yesPlant Disease, 2005
During August 2004, Cylindrocladium parasiticum Crous, M.J. Wingf., & Alfenas (teleomorph Calonectria ilicicola Boedijin & Reitsma) was isolated from peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) cv. NC 7 taken from an irrigated field in Terry County, TX. On 24 September, the mean length of patches with symptoms of dead plants and confirmed for the presence of
