Plant growth regulators were evaluated on African ‘Tifway’ and common bermudagrass. The vegetative growth of mowed Tifway bermudagrass was suppressed 15 to 22% for 3 weeks by flurprimidol at 0.84 kg ai/ha while mowed common bermudagrass was suppressed 30 to 34% during the same period by flurprimidol at 1.1 kg/ha.
