Chemical control strategies for Poa annua in managed turfgrass systems
Abstract Poa annua L. is a widespread and persistent weed in managed turfgrass systems, exhibiting both annual and short‐lived perennial growth habits. Effective management requires an integrated approach, with chemical herbicides remaining a primary tool.

Influence of Six Varieties of Cynodon on Four Meloidogyne spp.
Two years of giant star grass, Cynodon nlemluensis var. nlemfuensis, in a field plot markedly reduced the incidence of the root-knot nematodes. Tomato planted following the grass showed very little or no root galling and the yield was thrice that of tomato planted on an adjacent field plot previously cropped to tomato. Replicated greenhouse experiments

Assessing forage mass using smartphone imagery for cereal rye under grazing conditions in Nebraska
Abstract Managing grazing efficiency requires reliable and practical tools to estimate forage mass. Traditional methods like clipping, though accurate, are time consuming and labor intensive. In this study, two imaging tools, Canopeo and the Crop Canopy Image Analyzer (CCIA), were evaluated for their efficacy in estimating the forage mass of cereal rye

ABSTRACT This study estimated the repeatability of forage traits in 84 Paspalum nicorae ecotypes using six statistical methods and quantified the minimum number of harvests needed for effective selection. Multivariate analyses based on best linear unbiased prediction (BLUP) values were also performed to assess genetic variability, identify key traits ...
