Pancreatic tumors imaging: an update [PDF]
Currently, ultrasound (US), computed tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance imaging (MRI) represent the mainstay in the evaluation of pancreatic solid and cystic tumors affecting pancreas in 80-85% and 10-15% of the cases respectively. Integration of US,

Organoids and organ‐on‐a‐chips are advancing reproductive system research. In the female reproductive system, applications include cancer organoid models, placental chips, and hormone simulation models. For the male reproductive system, research focuses on drug resistance mechanisms, co‐culture platforms, and infertility studies. These refined in vitro

This case illustrates the potential utility of TF‐CEUS as a valuable adjunct in diagnosing complex fistulae. When MRI demonstrates limited sensitivity in detecting complex fistulae, TF‐CEUS can be chosen as a complementary imaging modality. It allows for real‐time, dynamic monitoring of the fistula branches, providing favorable conditions for early ...

In this study, 3D‐TVS measurements of the uterine junction zone (JZ) in 120 patients showed that a JZmax threshold of ≥ 0.45 cm yielded 77% sensitivity and 89% specificity for adenomyosis diagnosis. Notably, JZ thickness varies minimally with age, demonstrating its stability and excellent diagnostic performance.

Access and reattachment of biliary tree anomaly through Roux-en-Y hepaticojejunostomy: A case report
The right posterior segmental duct (RPSD) draining into the cystic duct is exceedingly rare. Ligation of the cystic duct in proximity to the junction of an aberrant right hepatic duct after a cholecystectomy can lead to life threatening complications ...
