Cytological Features of Pancreatic Medullary Carcinoma Diagnosed by Endoscopic Ultrasound‐Guided Fine Needle Aspiration

open access: yesDiagnostic Cytopathology, Volume 54, Issue 2, Page E54-E58, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Pancreatic medullary carcinoma is an extremely rare tumor classified as a histological subtype of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. We report a case of a pancreatic medullary carcinoma and describe its cytological features. A 75‐year‐old woman presented with lower back pain, epigastric discomfort, and a tumor‐like lesion in the pancreatic body.

Generation of Mice Harboring Bicc1 Conditional Null Alleles

open access: yesgenesis, Volume 64, Issue 1, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Bicaudal C1 (Bicc1) encodes an RNA‐binding protein critical for many organ development and epithelial tissue homeostasis. Bicc1 null mutations have been shown to lead to the development of polycystic kidney disease (PKD) and death at an early prenatal stage.

CRISPR‐Cas9‐Generated TXNDC15 c.560delA Homozygous Mouse Model Exhibits Meckel–Gruber Syndrome Phenotype

open access: yesgenesis, Volume 64, Issue 1, February 2026.
ABSTRACT To determine whether TXNDC15 variation causes Meckel–Gruber syndrome (MKS), we assessed the pathogenicity of the frameshift variant c.560delA. A CRISPR–Cas9 generated mouse model carrying the equivalent Txndc15 c.512delA mutation was analyzed at embryonic day 15.5.

Cystic malformations of the cystic duct

Surgical and Radiologic Anatomy, 1987
While cystic malformations of the main biliary tract are wellknown and classified, it is exceptional to find cystic malformations of the accessory biliary tract (cystic duct). An adolescent aged 15 years and an adult of 49 years were operated for cysts of the cystic duct revealed by associated lesions, a cyst of the common bile-duct and gallbladder ...
