Immunophenotypic characterization and clinical outcome in cats with lymphocytosis
Abstract Background Lymphocytosis is relatively common in cats, but few studies describe lymphocyte populations or the clinical course associated with different immunophenotypic expansions. Hypothesis/Objectives We hypothesized that cats frequently develop non‐neoplastic lymphocytosis and that different neoplastic immunophenotypes have variable ...

ABSTRACT Miamiensis avidus (syn. Philasterides dicentrarchi) leads to high mortality and economic losses in olive flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus) aquaculture. In this study, we developed a real‐time PCR assay targeting the cytochrome c oxidase subunit I (cox1) gene of M. avidus to sensitively detect and quantify the parasite in seawater.
