Efficacy and Safety of ABBV‐154 for the Treatment of Active Rheumatoid Arthritis: A Phase 2b, Randomized, Placebo‐Controlled Trial

open access: yesArthritis &Rheumatology, Accepted Article.
Objective Despite availability of biologics and targeted synthetic disease‐modifying antirheumatic drugs (b/tsDMARDs) to treat rheumatoid arthritis (RA), many patients do not experience optimized disease control. Glucocorticoids are effective but have safety risks.

3D printing variation: Teaching and assessing hepatobiliary variants in human anatomy

open access: yesAnatomical Sciences Education, EarlyView.
Abstract Textbook anatomy depiction of the hepatobiliary tree is present in 55%–62% of the population. Misidentification of hepatobiliary variants can lead to bile duct injuries in cholecystectomies. A better understanding of variants has been cited as a key area for improvement in anatomy education.

Comparison of Coculture Models of Eukaryotic Cells With Pathogenic and/or Commensal Bacteria for Tissue Engineering

open access: yesBiotechnology and Applied Biochemistry, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Appropriate in vitro systems are needed to evaluate effective strategies to prevent implant‐associated infections, which remain a significant complication in today's medicine. Conventional in vitro models involving monocultures cannot fully reflect the tissue environment in vivo.

Biomass‐Derived Stress‐Regulating Additives for Microsilicon Anodes in Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesBatteries &Supercaps, EarlyView.
Herein, biomass‐derived additives are introduced into the microsized silicon anode for the first time, which can alleviate the stress during cycling, promote the formation of LiF‐rich solid–electrolyte interface, reduce cracking, and improve cycle life.
