A Collocation-Driven Method of Discovering Rhymes (in Czech, English, and French Poetry)
2018The chapter presents a model for discovering rhymes in a corpus of poetic texts. The algorithm employs an adaptation of the usual collocation extraction technique in order to identify some common rhyme pairs in a corpus. The output is then used as a training set for simple machine learning.

2012This chapter looks at the nature of the Latin poetry by Czech exiles which shows that it is primarily religious, and practised by Protestant clerics in particular. In some cases the effort to bring their works to the ears of the powerful led to an interesting form of publishing.
