Tandem Takeoff: Powering Tomorrow with Industrial‐Grade Perovskite/Silicon Solar Cells
Perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells have recently achieved certified power conversion efficiencies of 34.85%, far exceeding the Shockley‐Queisser limit for single‐junction silicon and standalone perovskite cells. This review highlights the latest advances in the design, integration, and optimization of perovskite top cells for monolithic tandem ...

Inspired by the traditional Czochralski method of growing single crystal from liquid, the authors demonstrated that at nanoscale, metallic nanowires including Al, Ag, Cu and Sn can be controllably grown from the surface of a hot solid, by simply drawing ...

Cristobalite is one of the quartz crystalline polymorphs that forms at above 1470 °C in its pure form and above 1000 °C for quartz glass. Its formation during the Czochralski process is therefore inevitable, and is usually controlled by doping the ...

Performance and materials aspects of Ge:Be photoconductors [PDF]
Ge:Be photoconductors were developed for low photon background applications in the 30 to 50 MM wavelength region. These detectors provide higher responsivity and lower noise equivalent power (NEP) than the Ge:Ga detectors currently operating in this ...

Terahertz generation in Czochralski grown periodically poled Mg:Y:LiNbO3 via optical rectification
Using a canonical pump-probe experimental technique, we studied the terahertz (THz) waves generation and detection via optical rectification and mixing in Czochralski-grown periodically poled Mg:Y:LiNbO3 (PPLN) crystals.

First‐Principles Investigation of the T‐ and M‐Centers in Silicon Using Meta‐GGA Functionals
The relaxed structure for (a) T‐center and (b) M‐center. The calculations on the T‐center demonstrate excellent agreement with the HSE06, reinforcing the efficiency of meta‐GGA approaches for accurate defect characterization in Si. The M‐center is introduced, revealing promising quantum optical properties.
