A Czochralski crystal puller automated by the weighing method

Kristall und Technik, 1981
AbstractThe automated crystal growing equipment makes use of a commercial electronic balance equipped with a microprocessor. The mode of operation is explained and experiences got on the occasion of crystal growth experiments are presented.

Image Processing-Based Crystal Diameter Detection for Czochralski Method

2009 2nd International Congress on Image and Signal Processing, 2009
In order to real-time and accurately detect the crystal diameter in making process, the diameter detected method in making monocrystal with Czochralski method has been analyzed, and the process for detecting the diameter of monocrystal has been divided into three stages, crystal guiding stage, crystal transitional guiding stage, and equal-diameter ...

Twinning structure of LaGaO3 grown by the Czochralski method

Journal of Materials Science, 1992
Crystals of lanthanum gallate were grown by the Czochralski method and their quality was tested by microscopic observation in polarized light. This material is used as a substratum for the epitaxial growth of highTc films of YBCO, particularly for certain high-frequency device applications.

Flux Growth of NiFe2O4 Crystals by the Czochralski Method

Journal of Applied Physics, 1963
Nickel ferrite crystals were grown from sodium ferrite flux by a modified Čzochralski method. The crystals were analyzed and corresponded to Ni1.01Fe2O4.01. The largest one was a little over 1 cm3.

Growth of LGSO: Ce crystals by the Czochralski method

Crystallography Reports, 2009
Single crystals of Lu2x Gd2 − 2x SiO5: Ce (0 < x < 1) compounds with different atomic ratios Lu/(Lu + Gd) have been grown by the Czochralski method. It has been shown that a change in the spatial symmetry from P21/c to C2/c in the course of substitution of lutetium for gadolinium occurs at the ratio Lu ...

A modification to the Czochralski method of crystal pulling

Journal of Crystal Growth, 1970
Abstract A description is given of the application to strontium barium niobate of a modification of the Czochralski method, in which the diameter of the crystal is controlled by modifying the rate of heat loss from the grown crystal.

GaSb solution growth by the solute feeding Czochralski method

Journal of Crystal Growth, 1993
Abstract A new technique of pulling a GaSb bulk crystal from Ga solution fed with a GaSb source was developed. The stable growth condition was realized using the two-chamber (growth and source) crucible, in which a hole connecting the two chambers controlled the amount of solute supplied from the source chamber and a piston mechanism kept the volume ...

Growth of large PbWO4 single crystals by Czochralski method

Journal of Crystal Growth, 2001
Abstract Large size PbWO4 crystal was grown by Czochralski method. The dopant Fe3+ in the raw material and the annealing technology affected the transmittance at 420 nm. The transmittance at 420 nm obviously decreased when the Fe3+ content was higher than 10 ppm.

Laser spectroscopy of GaP grown by the Czochralski method

Optics and Spectroscopy, 2002
A method of laser modulation spectroscopy using impurity-band absorption associated with deep impurity centers is suggested for studying the second-kind of critical points in the Brillouin zone of gallium phosphide.
